The Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology sits at AQF Level 3, and most providers deliver it over roughly 12 months of full-time study, with the timetable built around significant workshop and diagnostic practice. Indicative tuition for international students is commonly in the region of AUD 8,000 to 18,000 for the complete qualification, but this varies by provider and city.
Providers usually run several intakes a year, often clustered around February, April or May, July and October, giving you flexibility on when you start. Workshop capacity can limit places, so early enrolment is sensible if you have a preferred start date.
