Active Study's physiotherapy pathways range from an AQF Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance through to university-pathway programs leading to a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. A Certificate IV typically takes around 12 months of full-time study with clinical placements, while a university degree pathway runs over several years. Indicative tuition for the allied health assistant qualification commonly sits in the region of AUD 9,000 to 18,000 in total, whereas university physiotherapy programs are considerably higher and vary by institution.
Vocational providers usually offer several intakes a year, commonly around February, April or May, July, and October, while university pathways tend to follow set semester intakes. Because course structures, placements and fees differ significantly between providers and universities, the figures here are indicative only and should be confirmed before you enrol. Your migration pathway depends on which route you take.
